Swedish Massage
The treatment can be given both for relaxation and for muscle pain, which is why it is suitable for both athletes and less active people. The massage begins gently, continues in depth, then ends gently again. It relaxes the nervous system, activates blood circulation and stimulates the lymph through the five movements practiced by the massage therapist, namely effleurage, kneading, pressure, crawling and twisting.
Swedish massage is a versatile technique with multiple benefits. It is first of all a massage which tones and relaxes the muscles. It also promotes blood and lymphatic circulation. This technique can be practiced for both therapeutic and relaxation purposes. The therapist will adapt the rhythm and depth of the maneuvers according to the needs of the person being massaged. Swedish massage helps relax and unwind both body and mind. Particularly soothing, it is appreciated for its ability to reduce the effects of stress on the body.

Cupping massage
Vacuum therapy, another name for cupping massage, is a technique based on the principle of activating local circulation. This therapy promotes tissue decongestion. This technique creates negative pressure (a bit like suction) when applying the suction cups. This pressure lifts the tissues and has positive repercussions on the muscular level. The massage is carried out with food grade silicone* suction cups (silicone used for making baby bottles or food dishes) or medical grade (silicone that can be implanted in the body – human body – due to device or surgery).
Among the benefits of cupping massage, we mainly find the reduction of the effects of stress on the body and the reduction of muscle tension. Cupping massage can help relieve tension, muscle pain, heavy legs, fatigue, etc.
The use of cupping is contraindicated in certain contexts such as taking anticoagulants and the presence of very large varicose veins.
