Osteopathy

Newborn Baby

Newborn to 2 years old

Osteopathy helps the body of newborns by acting on the stresses that the baby has undergone during pregnancy and childbirth. We thus help the infant to overcome swallowing or breathing difficulties, stomach aches, crying attacks, earaches, flat head problems or even a head that always turns on the same side.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a manual therapy that aims to restore and maintain the structure-function balance of the systems that make up the human body. It defines its specificity by its global approach allowing the evaluation of the client from a mechanical, functional and postural point of view. Osteopathy uses manual techniques, appropriate according to the results of the osteopathic evaluation made previously.

The osteopath does not consider only the lesions but the person in his integrity with his past, his present but especially with the aspirations that the person can have with the restoration of the balance and especially without pain or discomfort.

Ultimately, the goal will therefore be to find the origin of the discomfort in order to restore normality to the client's daily life.

Why?

Here are some examples of the many situations that can benefit from osteopathic consultation. However, for any medical condition it is recommended to obtain the professional advice of your doctor.
